We saw several brides this year struggle with soaring temperatures bless their heart with thick dresses on. If you choose a thick dress with many layers perhaps consider an alternative one should temperatures get hot during the summer months. Or, perhaps a multiway dress. Either way do consider what it would be like to walk around all day in 30 degree heat should you be choosing a summer wedding.


7. ACCESSORIES: Plan how you will accessorise your dress and consider how it will complement your chosen accessories, such as jewellery, shoes, veil, and headpieces. Make sure they all work together harmoniously.

Also, conversely if you find a dream dress however not quite the right size. This can be altered. You can go from having a zip up back which is rather restrictive to having a corset style back put in which allows for a variation in size. This is excellent for new mums or pregnant brides and the corset back is just as pretty but also helps with the re-sale afterwards should you wish to sell your dress.
